DevOps Engineer for Software Intelligence Solutions (m/f/d)

As a DevOps Engineer at CQSE, you are responsible for developing and operating the IT infrastructure for our Software Intelligence solutions, which are often a central part of our customers’ quality control processes. By applying state-of-the art DevOps technologies and practices, you ensure a high standard of availability, performance and security for our services.

You can work in one of our offices or simply from home.

With more than 60 employees and about 25 students throughout Germany and Silicon Valley, we are a company whose development you can actively help shape.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure components for operating CQSE’s Software Intelligence solutions in multiple different customer environments, striving for a high degree of automation
• Define and implement deployment strategies based on customer requirements
• Provision, operate and monitor production deployments and resolve incidents
• Participate in the continuous improvement of internal processes for ensuring a high service level
• Since we are a small team, you can participate in many other areas (marketing, company website, research, etc.), if you feel like it.

Your Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience 
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming or scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript, Typescript)
• Interest and ability to learn new technologies as needed
• Very good communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree, further education and/or experience in computer science or a other technical related field
• Knowledge of and/or experience with administration of common operating systems
• Knowledge of and/or practical experience with DevOps methodologies and tooling
• Knowledge of Container and Cloud technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus)
