As a working student for software quality consulting, you are responsible for helping our customers improve their code by providing expert advice on software quality issues. To that end, you assess the quality of our customers’ systems using our tool Teamscale. You interpret findings and other results in the context of individual development teams to provide them with appropriate and personalized advice. Additionally, you are responsible for the implementation of tooling used in the consulting teams. This includes data mining & visualization, as well as working with different APIs.

\n\nResponsibilities\nAs a working student you will work as part of the consulting team and assist with software quality analysis, as well as preparing input for customer meetings. This includes working on actual customer code and joining meetings with our customers (listen-in or present something; your choice).
\nYou can work on different aspects:
\nAs a working student you will work with us on our software Teamscale and you are independently responsible for the implementation of new features. You will work in one of our offices or simply from home.

\nYou can work on different aspects of Teamscale:
\nAs a Software Quality Consultant at CQSE, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our clients to significantly enhance their software quality. By employing our software quality platform, Teamscale, alongside our Technical Quality Engineering (TQE) process, you will leverage your software engineering experience to deliver expert insights and solutions tailored to each client's needs. You will engage with various development teams to identify and implement effective strategies for improving software quality and developing sustainable practices. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating long-lasting impacts within vital software ecosystems.
\nLead the introduction of Teamscale and the TQE process to new clients and teams, providing essential training and ongoing support.
\nPerform in-depth assessments of software systems to identify quality issues and provide appropriate advice tailored to each client.
\nCarry out retrospectives and guide the adoption of enhancements in clients' software practices and processes.
\nConfidently present your findings and recommendations to client teams.
\nCollaborate with development teams to ensure alignment of Teamscale’s features with their specific needs.
\nPartner with our internal teams to refine and advance our software solutions, while actively participating in cross-functional projects.
\nMaster’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
\nSoftware engineering and development proficiency, with practical experience in one or more programming languages.
\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of engaging with management teams or presenting at conferences.
\nPh.D. or further education in engineering, computer science, or related technical fields.
\nExperience with quality assurance technologies, including code analysis, testing, and reviews.
\nFamiliarity with various programming languages, such as C/C++, Objective-C, Python, Java, Swift, or JavaScript.
\nStrong understanding of development processes, methodologies, and tools.
\nA highly skilled team with flat hierarchies.
