As a working student for software quality consulting, you are responsible for helping our customers improve their code by providing expert advice on software quality issues. To that end, you assess the quality of our customers’ systems using our tool Teamscale. You interpret findings and other results in the context of individual development teams to provide them with appropriate and personalized advice. Additionally, you are responsible for the implementation of tooling used in the consulting teams. This includes data mining & visualization, as well as working with different APIs.

With 60 employees and over 15 students throughout Germany and the Silicon Valley, we are a small and very specialized company whose evolution you can actively help shape.

Responsibilities

As a working student you will work as part of the consulting team and assist with software quality analysis, as well as preparing input for customer meetings. This includes working on actual customer code and joining meetings with our customers (listen-in or present something; your choice).

You can work on different aspects:

  • Software quality analysis using our tool Teamscale
  • Preparing assessment reports for our customers
  • Prepare and evaluate customer surveys
  • Support customers in improving their quality assurance process
  • Data analysis and visualization
  • Development of supporting tools needed by our consulting teams
    • Mainly in Java, but sometimes also C#, C++, Python or Typescript
  • Get code reviews by experienced engineers & use automated tests for all changes
  • Automate creation of our complex Teamscale Demo setups
Your Profile
  • Studying Computer Science or similar
  • Interest in software quality
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good programming skills
  • Experience with Java or similar high level languages
  • A structured and independent working style (but we'll assist you, of course!)
